What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at Chief Media?
The Account Coordinator aids in crafting impactful, inventive, and strategic initiatives and assists in the implementation of approved media plans on a daily basis.
The Role
- Proficient in understanding different media platforms and their alignment with client strategies and objectives.
- Performs media research, facilitates brainstorming sessions, analyzes data, and formulates perspectives.
- Strives to comprehend the client's business dynamics, including market share, business priorities, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborates closely with the Account Manager to craft and guide media strategies and points of view (POVs).
- In charge of the daily upkeep of designated accounts, including addressing billing concerns, revising budgets, updating flowcharts, conducting competitive analysis, and performing post-buy analysis. Ensures meticulous maintenance of comprehensive and precise records.
- Maintains clear communication with the Account Manager, ensuring they are updated on daily progress and promptly addressing any raised concerns.
- Monitors media performance for pacing, delivery, placement accuracy, and flight-date consistency, negotiating credit or billing adjustments as needed.
- Utilizing a variety of internal and external data sources, conducts campaign analysis crucial for optimization, planning, and purchasing decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience as an intern in an agency setting is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks across various projects and clients with diverse timelines and deliverables.
- Experience or familiarity with utilizing spreadsheets/Excel for organization and calculations.
- Experience with or familiarity with using spreadsheets/Excel for organization and calculations.
- Demonstrated success in earning trust and respect through consistent demonstration of adept creative, strategic, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, vendors, clients, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer insights and how to put insights into action, experience with MRI/Simmons is a plus but not required!
