Job Summary: The Part-Time Grants & Programs Administrator supports the organization’s grant management and application processes. This role is responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of grant proposals, maintaining documentation and tracking submissions.
Essential Functions:
· Assist in identifying grant opportunities and gathering required documentation for proposals.
· Prepare and submit smaller-scale grant applications under the direction of senior staff.
· Track grant awards, reporting deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely submission.
· Maintain organized records of grant files, contracts, and related correspondence.
· Support data collection and reporting for active programs and funded projects.
· Assist with outcome tracking and compiling narratives for funder reports.
· Coordinate with staff to ensure program activities align with grant objectives.
· Contribute to process improvements in grants and program tracking systems.
· Effectively manages time to avoid backtracking and delay of tasks.
· Participates in staff meetings by contributing expertise and identifying possible solutions and process improvements.
· Models organizational values in all settings to help create an inclusive, respectful, and cohesive team.
· Work independently and productively while still keeping open communication with others.
· Delivers honest and reliable communication with all individuals with whom they interact.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an AA from an accredited institution with equivalent years of experience
· Grant proficiency
· Experience with grant research, writing, reviewing, editing, and submission
· Experience with Housing Community Partners
· Experience with vulnerable populations
· Core competencies as listed above
· Pass all required background checks
· Excellent computer skills required
· Driver’s License and auto insurance required for driving on company business
Typical Working Environment:
Work is performed primarily indoors. Time is spent split between: (1) office setting with moderate noise levels consistent with a typical office setting; (2) in a home environment working remotely. This position has been approved as a hybrid position that can work remotely and from the office. Primary work location is designated as the CHAT office.
Equipment/Tools:
Computer, Keyboard, Phone, Tablet/iPad, Multifunction Printer/Copier, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Interaction/Supervision:
Interact with all levels of staff, coworkers, clients, and the general public.
Physical Demands:
Constantly (67% ): Talking, hearing, reading, using a desktop or laptop computer.

Hours of Work:
This position will work the hours necessary to meet the needs of the business and to complete necessary job duties. May include work during days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
