What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Team Member position at Chick-fil-A?
Overview: The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for performing daily cleaning and repair tasks, completing monthly preventative maintenance, and assisting with additional projects as assigned. This role requires an early-morning schedule, a strong work ethic, and a solid understanding of equipment and basic technical skills.
Reports to: Senior Director of Operations
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment
- Complete morning cleaning checklists to ensure restaurant readiness
- Conduct fryer boil-outs and other deep-cleaning procedures
- Assist with truck deliveries, including unloading and submitting credits
- Repair equipment as assigned
- Carry out additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
Hours:
- 10-20 hours per week
Requirements:
- 6am-10am availability.
- Ability to lift 50 lb.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in a maintenance related position
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem solving skills
