BOH Team Leader Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ensure food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Lead and coach team members during shifts
- Assist with training and onboarding new hires
- Maintain speed of service while upholding accuracy
- Open and/or close the kitchen; act as key holder when scheduled
- Monitor prep levels, waste, and product handling
- Communicate clearly with Front of House leadership and senior leaders
- Hold team members accountable with professionalism and care
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lead, coach, and correct in real time
- Strong commitment to food safety and operational excellence
- Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
