Job Description

At Chick-fil-A, the Dining Host role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to create meaningful connections with our guests. This position focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality through conversation and service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued during their visit. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, the Dining Host will gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Team Members are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience and ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service.

Position Type:

Part-time

Monday - Saturday

Daytime - 9 am - 3 pm

Evening - 3 pm - 9 pm

• Initial Uniform Cost - Reimbursed at 6 months.
• Employee Meal - Subject to our reliability policy. Use up to $13 per shift worked. Over $3,000 annually for a full-time team member working 5 days a week.

Dining Host Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
• Engage in meaningful conversations with guests to enhance their dining experience
• Ensure the dining area remains clean and welcoming
• Create and maintain eye contact, speak enthusiastically, and make emotional connections with guests
• Proactively offer assistance to guests, especially families, the elderly, or anyone needing special accommodations
• Keep the dining areas, playground and restrooms clean at all times
• Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant
• Be adaptable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic
• Multitask quickly and efficiently while maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude
• Assist Front of House staff as needed to support the overall dining experience
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Loves serving and helping others, especially through conversation and hospitality
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Cheerful and positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
