Role Description The Front Of House Manager is a full-time, on-site role located at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Sandusky, OH. This role oversees front-of-house operations, including dining room and counter service, guest experience, and hospitality standards. Responsibilities include leading, scheduling, and coaching Team Members, managing shift operations, and ensuring adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and service procedures. The Front Of House Manager supports order accuracy, speed of service, and problem resolution, while promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. This role collaborates with the leadership team on staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with restaurant goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service and hospitality management, with a focus on guest satisfaction and conflict resolution.
- Skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance feedback, including the ability to motivate and support diverse team members.
- Operational skills in shift management, scheduling, and coordinating front-of-house workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness standards, and basic restaurant operations procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems quickly, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in food service or retail is preferred.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality, management, or related fields is a plus.
