Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with food preparation, order taking, and service delivery.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and food orders.
- Manage food handling responsibilities including processing cash transactions, serving food, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and kitchen hygiene protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support quick service operations.
- Process cash register operations accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Ensure all food industry regulations are followed for sanitation, safety, and quality control.
- Assist with operating grocery or café sections if applicable, supporting overall store or restaurant functions.
- Contribute to a team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods and maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Background in food preparation or culinary experience is beneficial for understanding food handling procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards required for safe food handling.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café environment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
