Our Catering Coordinator supports our community through catering and marketing events, and in-store connection and fundraising events. When this role isn't serving our community in this capacity, it supports day-to-day operations and guests on site. Individuals in this role must be comfortable meeting and speaking with people on a regular basis and must have the ability to multi-task and adhere to timelines. This role requires a valid driver's license.

Our Catering Coordinator works directly with our Executive Director to ensure our Catering Department is running at peak efficiency. Our Catering Coordinator will have oversight of our catering process from start-to-finish. This includes, but may not be limited to the following:

• Overseeing and owning the entire catering process from order to delivery and follow-up.
• Confirming orders on the day of the event.
• Working closely with operations and kitchen staff to ensure the restaurant has all the necessary food and paper goods for upcoming catering orders.
• Boxing meals and packing bags for delivery. This position is very hands-on
• Ensuring the catering equipment and area in the restaurant are clean and organized.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for all restaurant catering procedures.
• Managing a database of catering customers.
• Continuously evaluating customer experiences and communicating operational improvement ideas to the Executive Director.
• Driving to the client's location to deliver catering orders.
• Ensuring Team Members deliver a remarkable pickup and/or delivery guest experience.
• Following up with guests for feedback and to inquire about their recent experience.
• Building relationships with local community members and serving as an ambassador for the Chick-fil-A brand.
• Maintaining and growing existing catering relationships, including things like sending handwritten thank-you notes.
• Handling all charitable donation requests.
• Set up Spirit nights with local schools.

Prior experience in some food and project management capacity is necessary. We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities:

We believe that everyone should be paid for each hour that they work, which means that everyone in our restaurant is paid on an hourly basis. Hourly rate will be commiserate with experience.

***The work schedule is flexible to accommodate catering orders, which means the ability to work week nights and Saturdays is mandatory, as needed.***

REQUIREMENTS

• Restaurant cooking/organization, catering, or project management experience
• Valid Drivers License
• MUST be able to work a flexible schedule to include Saturdays and weeknights, based on catering orders

REQUIREMENTS

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
