Prep/Dishwasher Closer (Full-Time)

At Chick-fil-A, the closing team plays a key role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the next day. As a Prep/Dishwasher Closer, you’ll help maintain a spotless dish area, support kitchen prep, and ensure everything is stored properly and meets our food safety standards.

What you’ll do

• Operate dishwashing equipment to keep dishes, utensils, and cookware clean and sanitized

• Sort, load, and unload dishes efficiently to support a smooth kitchen flow

• Complete end-of-day cleaning tasks in the dish area and assigned kitchen areas

• Support food prep duties as needed to keep items stocked and ready for service

• Organize and restock supplies, maintain inventory awareness, and follow proper storage procedures

• Help ensure the kitchen meets all cleanliness and food safety requirements

• Collaborate with team members to finish closing tasks on time

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
• Must work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Mobility required during shifts
• Be able to work in a hot, noisy and fast paced environment
