WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US: can include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Patrols buildings and grounds, examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure.
- Inspects heating systems, boilers and pumps verifying that they are working properly.
- Checks all suspicious vehicles and persons on school property, report problems to the proper authorities.
- Delivers School Board materials when required.
- Takes Education Center trash to Hilltop each night.
- Checks and takes readings on freezers and refrigerators.
- Secures areas that have been damaged or need repair.
- Places barricades and caution tape as needed.
- Opens building in the absence of Head Custodian(s).
- Assists in Food Service deliveries during the overnight hours.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands or arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.

Shift: 8hrs/day 12 months
Reports to: Facilities Supervisor
Salary Level: As per current AFSCME contract: Starting Rate $15.55/ hour

- School Health Record - includes physical & tb test from within a year
- Act 24 (PDE Form 6004) - Arrest/Conviction Report
- PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release -A separate form must be completed for: Current employer; and All former employers that were school entities; and All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.
