Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access using CCTV systems and physical patrols.
- Control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed.
- Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, conducting thorough investigations and escalating issues to law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security technology to identify potential threats or breaches.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behaviors and implementing proactive measures.
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives.
- Manage conflicts effectively through conflict management techniques, de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and calmness.
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management abilities combined with effective communication skills.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement training are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail.
