The following support staff position is available for the 2025-2026 school year.
Transportation
Dispatcher
Summary of Position: Dispatches buses according to schedules and assists the Transportation Director to assure a smooth running transportation department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispatches buses and assignes substitutes.
- Prepares weekly and monthly calendars for early dismissals.
- Maintains current computerized records of all bus routes and bus assignments of students and employees.
- In emergency situations only, may be required to transport students.
- Assists the Transportation Director with routing creation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have valid PA driver's license and school bus driver's license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or students.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
