About Cplc Centro De La Familia (cdlf)
CDLF provides outpatient behavioral health services for families and individuals of all ages. We offer counseling and therapy services to those living with serious mental illness, general mental health issues, and substance abuse issues. These issues can be related to depression, anxiety, relationships, loss, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and trauma from sexual, emotional and/or physical abuse. Our outpatient services offer flexible office hours and home-based services for children and their families, public transit accessibility, therapy in English and Spanish, and professional staff who utilize best practice models for treatment.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT PROGRAM DIRECTOR?

You will oversee program statistical data, outpatient clinic client services, crisis interventions, and clinical management. You will coordinate access to care, transfers, triage, caseload management, timely documentation, productivity, and direct service functions. You will collaborate as an active member of the treatment team and provide direct services as needed.
You drive service and performance improvement initiatives and actively manage corrective action plans to ensure program quality and accountability. You lead and support clinical and administrative staff, contribute to performance evaluations, and facilitate training and clinical supervision to promote continuous staff development and strong team performance
As a CPLC Director, you positively represent CPLC and CDLF to community partners. You will also share in the rotation of on-call crisis cell phone when required.

- You demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the behavioral health continuum of care, including mental health, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness.
- You model to your team how to apply culturally responsive practices with sensitivity to low-income, at-risk, and bilingual or dual-language populations, ensuring equitable and inclusive care.
- You are skilled in youth behavioral health interventions, including application of behavioral principles and the Arizona Child and Family Team (CFT) model.
- You know how to lead effectively within outpatient behavioral health settings, managing multidisciplinary teams, driving clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with program requirements while maintaining adaptability to scheduling and operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, enabling credentialing with the State of Arizona.
- Licensed with the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (BBHE).
- Two years post-masters experience preferred.
- Management experience preferred.
- Generalist knowledge in general mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness.
- Familiarity with application of behavioral principles in youth treatment, understanding of the Arizona Child and Family Team model.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy.
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
- Must successfully complete the agency’s orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to attend entry-level supervision continuing education within six months of assuming position.
- Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish and as appropriate to population served preferred.
