Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in the efficient processing of customer orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC machines
- Operate stand-up forklift and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse
- Process orders to customer specifications
- Do packaging and general housekeeping
- May receive/inspect and verify material count
- Maintain safe working conditions in the plant and staging areas to assure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Position Requirements:
- A high school education is required; technical training is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must know how to use caliper, micrometer, square, protractor, and tape measure.
- Experience in Automatic and CNC machine set-up and operation, or the vocational equivalent of same highly preferred
