Role Description The Leasing Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with a mix of on-site property work and work-from-home administrative tasks. In this role, the Leasing Consultant will respond to leasing inquiries, schedule and conduct property showings, and guide prospective residents through the application and lease signing process. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate lease files, updating leasing and vacancy information, and supporting resident move-in and move-out activities. The Leasing Consultant will handle resident questions, address basic service concerns, and collaborate with property management staff to support resident satisfaction and retention. The role also involves regularly communicating with prospective and current residents by phone, email, and in person to ensure a professional and welcoming experience.

Qualifications
- Ability to manage Leases and Lease Administration, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining accurate lease documents.
- Skills in Resident Retention and Customer Service, with a focus on building positive relationships and resolving routine resident concerns.
- Strong Communication abilities for in-person, phone, and written interactions with residents, prospects, and internal team members.
- Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Chicago rental market and basic fair housing principles is beneficial.
- Comfort with property management software and standard office applications.
- Ability to work a consistent full-time schedule, including some evenings or weekends as needed for showings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in real estate or business is a plus.
