What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Teaching Assistant position at Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center?
Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center is a therapist-owned, pediatric therapy practice that provides physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy services in the home, clinic setting, and through our therapeutic preschool readiness program, Chicago Therapeutic Children's Academy. Our goal is to be the leader in the Chicago land area in both providing therapy services for children as well as educating professionals and families in our specialty fields.
At this time, our sister company, Chicago Therapeutic Children's Academy has excellent opportunities for a Therapeutic Teaching Assistant who is a dynamic team member with flexibility and a positive attitude! Communication skills, organizational skills and a team mentality are a must! We need an assistant to float between our classes at our Academy program to help with organizational tasks, cleaning tasks, classroom help with children, and overall management of supplies. This job also requires some assistance during or after therapy sessions to create a flow for the children and therapists that work here.
Candidates must be energetic, courteous and professional with children and their parents and all of their co-workers. Qualities that the candidates should possess are:
