Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to join the Marketing team. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing and serve as the internal lead in developing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies that engage, retain and grow the Club’s fanbase.
In this role, the individual will focus on building and optimizing CRM-driven journeys across Email, SMS and additional marketing automation tools. They will design multi-channel campaigns that deliver personalized, data-driven messages to maximize performance, collaborating with internal teams to integrate lifecycle strategies into broader marketing initiatives to support revenue growth and long-term fan engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lifecycle Campaign Development & Execution
- Develop and execute automated lifecycle marketing journeys and campaigns across CRM channels (Email, SMS) to maximize conversions and engagement.
- Lead the development of multi-channel remarketing strategies, integrating App and Paid channels into Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journeys.
- Create and manage nurture programs to ensure long-term retention and engagement.
- Segmentation & Targeting
- Build and refine customer segmentation, targeting and contact strategies to maximize conversion rates and lifetime value.
- Develop scalable, automated journeys for hyper-targeted segments that continuously increase conversion.
- Implement a multi-touch conversion strategy using data- and activity-driven triggers across channels.
- Testing & Optimization
- Conduct A/B and multi-variate testing to identify best practices in creative, messaging and cadence.
- Translate testing insights into scalable automations that can be rolled into the larger ecosystem.
- Continuously evaluate journey performance and implement enhancements to improve results.
- Reporting & Insights
- Own KPI reporting, including weekly and monthly updates on lifecycle campaign performance.
- Synthesize insights and present recommendations to Marketing leadership to inform strategy.
- Partner with Business Strategy & Analytics team to ensure campaigns are optimized against business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Ticketing and Soccer Business teams to align lifecycle marketing with organizational priorities to ensure integrated, multi-channel fan journeys.
- Support broader marketing campaigns by providing lifecycle expertise, ensuring fans are engaged throughout their experience with the Club.
- Completion of other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM and marketing automation platforms and systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Expertise and hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to develop automated, data-driven journeys and multi-channel campaigns.
- Ability to manage priorities and coordinate tasks to solve day-to-day challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Possess executive presence, ability to partner with senior leaders as well as operationalize ideas and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills.
- Must display a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, digital marketing, business or technology.
- Experience with SMS and/or other digital marketing automation platforms and systems (Attentive).
- Experience working in a fast paced or start-up environment
Compensation:
- This role offers a salary range of $70,000-$75,000 Final salary is determined by carefully considering the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience. This role is classified as Full-time, exempt
