Role Description
The Staff Member will play an integral role in facilitating ministry activities, organizing events, mentoring students, and fostering a welcoming campus community to support spiritual growth. Responsibilities include leading life groups, organizing outreach and service projects, and coordinating administrative tasks to support the ministry’s operations and goals. This is a full-time, on-site position based on Georgia Tech's main campus in midtown Atlanta, GA, and requires a deep commitment to the mission and values of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.
Qualifications
- Experience in mentoring, discipleship, and community engagement
- Skills in event planning, coordination, and administrative tasks to support ministry goals
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking, active listening, and conflict resolution
- Ability to foster relationships and build a welcoming and inclusive community for diverse groups
- Basic knowledge of Christian theology and a commitment to Chi Alpha’s vision and mission
- Proficiency with office software tools and technologies for event coordination and communication
- Experience working in campus ministry, nonprofit organizations, or similar environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Completion of CMIT (Chi Alpha's formal internship)
