Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to the following:
- Posting is located in the Richmond Lubricants Plant Packaging Department.
- Safely and reliably transfer bulk lubricant products.
- Execute filling orders using manual and automatic controls on multiple filling lines.
- Ensure packaged product quality and traceability. Responsible for line sampling, reject system verification, weight checks, and printer operation.
- Manually or mechanically move incoming package components and outgoing packaged products.
- Inspect and manage incoming packaging components for stock accuracy and component quality.
- Performs administrative duties as necessary including stock, repackaging, and damage goods counting and reporting.
- Works cooperatively with others as a team player.
- Complete all Company and Regulatory training including computer base training.
- Strong commitment to safety and active participation in OE (Operational Excellence) programs.
- Operates within Chevron Safe Work Practices and ensures contractor safety.
- Responsible for filling line housekeeping and equipment checks on a daily basis.
- Performs other such work as requested by the Lead and Head Packaging Operator.
- This position requires driving on a routine basis.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years prior operations experience.
- Valid CA driver’s license and forklift operation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in packaging or warehousing operations.
- Associates or higher degree (or equivalent).
- Higher technical or secondary technical education.
