We’re looking for a dependable, friendly team member to help with daily store operations. This position includes preparing food in our deli, running the cash register, and stocking shelves and coolers. Applicants must be willing to work in all three areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook deli food according to store recipes and food safety procedures.
- Keep the deli, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas clean and sanitary.
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly service.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, card payments, and other transactions accurately.
- Follow store policies and applicable age-verification requirements for restricted products.
- Receive deliveries and stock shelves, the cooler, and the beer cooler.
- Rotate products, check expiration dates, and keep merchandise organized.
- Help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently, follow instructions, and switch between tasks.
- Comfortable handling food, working around cooking equipment, and stocking refrigerated areas.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move stock, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
- Cashier, stocking, or food service experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person.
Pay: From $17.13 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
