Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on store products and promotions
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement
• Upsell items by recommending complementary products to increase sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers and handling cash with integrity
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory to ensure a tidy shopping environment
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support the team with basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers, including bilingual support if applicable

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of retail store product details and merchandising principles is advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are a nice-to-have to better serve diverse customer needs
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective customer interactions
