Purpose/Introduction
Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking an SAP Analyst to join the Equipment Reliability Team for the Cedar Bayou facility located in Baytown, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your experience and be part of a team ensuring the continued reliability and maintenance of a large chemical manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
- Maintain SAP “user system” for all plant personnel. Complete Annual SAP Security review and function as the site SAP Security Coordinator
- Liaison with corporate functions / personnel on SAP site improvement efforts (ex. SAP Users Network, IT, Finance)
- Function as the site’s main contact and coordinator during the application of SAP system patches, Functional Integration Tests, and major upgrades
- Assign EBR’s (SAP Security Enterprise Business Roles) and understand how they impact SAP Security and specific job roles related to end user
- Create/Remove and maintain all plant Functional Location Structures and Equipment inside of SAP
- Support facility Finance/Accounting with each month end and year end closing for work order and expense project settlement errors.
- Provide general user functional support and training of SAP
- EMR (Equipment Move Requests) and MOC (Management of Change) closures for equipment in SAP
- Develop KPIs for monitoring ITPM compliance and establish a process for extending the required completion date when appropriate
- Actively participate in the SAP and APM data integration
- Create purchase requisitions
- Ensure PM Plans are complete, task list / BOMs are accurate, and the correct frequency is assigned
- Collaborate with maintenance planner to create new PM Plans and update existing PM Plans
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years of experience working in SAP Material Management (MM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules in a petrochemical, refinery, or other industrial facility
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to self-start, prioritize work, align goals, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Broad understanding of the SAP Enterprise System covering the Plant Maintenance, Material, Project, and Production Management Modules
- Desire to become the site’s SAP Subject Matter Expert
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to prioritize work to align with goals
- Ability to establish respectful relationships with team members at all levels
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- At least 5 years of experience working in SAP Finance (FICO), and Projects (PS) modules in a petrochemical, refinery, or other industrial facility
- At least 10 years of combined industry experience as either an Operations Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, SAP Analyst, or Reliability Specialist
- Experience developing reports with Power BI
- Experience with Enterprise Business Roles for SAP Security
