Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager at Chetu, you will be responsible for leading large-scale, complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery. You will provide strategic direction, ensure alignment with business objectives, manage senior stakeholders, and mentor project teams to consistently deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple or high-impact IT projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.
- Strategic Planning: Translate business requirements into executable project plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to manage expectations, priorities, and deliverables.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and support project managers and technical teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation strategies to ensure delivery success.
- Budget & Resource Management: Own project budgets, forecasts, and resource planning to optimize utilization and cost efficiency.
- Process & Governance: Enforce project management best practices, governance standards, and reporting across initiatives.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, timely project updates, executive-level reports, and status dashboards to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in project management, including leading complex IT or software delivery projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of SDLC, enterprise systems, and delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models
