THE ROLE
Chetola Resort is seeking a professional and reliable Overnight Security Guard (10 PM – 6 AM) to ensure the safety, security, and peace of mind of our guests, employees, and property during the late evening and overnight hours. This role plays a vital part in upholding our resort’s reputation as a safe, welcoming environment for all who visit and work here. As the first in-person point of contact for many guests arriving late at night, you set the tone for their stay. Whether offering a friendly greeting, assisting with directions, or providing reassurance after a long journey, you ensure that every guest feels cared for and at home from the moment they arrive.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Guest Welcome & Support
- Serve as the first in-person welcome for arrivals, greeting every guest with warmth and professionalism
- Provide directions, answer questions, and offer assistance to ensure a smooth arrival experience
- Respond to guest concerns or issues with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain a calm, approachable presence that reassures guests and staff alike
Safety & Security Oversight
- Patrol all resort grounds, parking areas, and facilities
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to maintain a secure environment
- Conduct regular checks of doors, windows, and public spaces to ensure safety
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or unusual activity
Operations & Reporting
- Document guest interactions, incidents, and activity in detailed reports
- Communicate effectively with management and emergency services when required
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and medical calls
- Enforce resort policies in a respectful and guest-centered manner

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stay alert and focused during overnight hours (10 PM – 6 AM); able to work overnight shift at least 3 times per week
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or security preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Must be physically able to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods
- Availability to work overnights, including weekends and holidays
