Overview

Chestnut Health Systems™ is seeking a Clinician to provide outpatient behavioral health services within Jefferson County, with a focus on Specialty Court populations. This position plays a key role in delivering evidence-based treatment, supporting individuals involved in the justice system, and collaborating closely with court personnel and community partners.

This role offers a dynamic work environment across office, community, and court-based settings. Some evening hours may be required to meet client needs. The ideal candidate is a motivated clinician with strong clinical skills, experience working with diverse populations, and a passion for recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a human services field required
  • Provisionally licensed in Missouri required
  • CADC (Missouri) preferred
  • Experience working with families and/or specialty court populations preferred
  • Willingness to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and other evidence-based practices
  • Pursuit of Missouri LCSW or LPC within two years of hire preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), videoconferencing platforms, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and within court/legal environments
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. Responsibilities

  • Complete clinical documentation in accordance with program, agency, and funder requirements, including screenings, assessments, treatment/recovery plans, and progress notes
  • Ensure timely submission of documentation, including completion of assessments and treatment plans by due dates and progress notes within 48 hours of service delivery
  • Prepare and submit accurate, thorough, and timely court reports
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services in office and community settings
  • Maintain assigned service levels and productivity expectations
  • Utilize evidence-based practices including Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and Motivational Interviewing
  • Encourage involvement of family and natural supports through communication and psychoeducation
  • Promote recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care, including use of recovery-focused language in all documentation and interactions
  • Provide referral, linkage, and advocacy to community resources
  • Collaborate with specialty court personnel regarding referrals, treatment recommendations, and client progress
  • Attend treatment court staffings and hearings with clients as required
  • Serve as a liaison between the courts and Chestnut programs and services
  • Foster positive relationships with court personnel, probation and parole, Missouri Children’s Division, and other community partners
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and program development activities, including required Chestnut and specialty court trainings
  • Demonstrate ongoing development in evidence-based practices such as TIC, Stages of Change, ASAM, CRA, and Motivational Interviewing
  • Provide leadership and clinical guidance with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and organizational information

Salary : $44,400 - $50,575
