Experience in an orthodontic or periodontic practice preferred
Scheduling Responsibilities:
- Ensures that ortho schedule is filled accurately. Checks schedule a week in advance to ensure accuracy.
- Oversees scheduling and conducts the non-clinical portion of all consultation appointments.
- Works with clinicians and Operations Manager/scheduler to accommodate changes in schedule.
- Maintains information on overdue ortho adjustment appointments; schedules as soon as possible.
Financial/Insurance:
- Ensures that insurance information, contracts and financial arrangements are correct and completed in a timely fashion for patients beginning treatment.
- Responsible for financial arrangements for Invisalign patients.
- Sends pretreatment estimates to insurance companies.
Administrative:
- Monitors numbers and conversion rates for starts, new patients, consults, recalls, dismissals and generates weekly and monthly reports; follow up as needed.
- Works with clinicians on goals, i.e. number of starts expected
- Generates monthly production reports.
- Follows up on patients who have had consults and not booked starts.
- Works with Operations Manager or her designee to ensure accurate information on patients who have been asked to schedule initial appointments. Follow up as needed.
