Position Summary:
Chesterwye Center, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven, organized, and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to support our growing finance department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, maintaining the integrity of our accounting records, and supporting smooth daily operations across the organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, and demonstrates strong professionalism when working with staff, vendors, and partners.

Primary Job Function(s):
· Understand and apply basic accounting principles relating to accounts payable
· Invoice, Payment, and Deposit Scanning
· Reconcile receipts to Invoices
· Assist in entering invoices in the Accounting System (Sage 50)
· Attached scanning documents to transactions in Accounting System
· Process and verify payments to vendors and employees either by check or electronic
· File, organize, and maintain records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and checks either electronic or hard copy
· Confirming subcontractor billed working hours
· Follow-up on invoices and payments with discrepancies or disputes
· Prepare and distribute reports related to utilization
· Other accounting related tasks as necessary

Qualifications:Qualifications:
· Relevant experience in accounts payable
· Quality Computer skills
· Self-motivating, organized with time-management skills, and able to function in a team environment
· Ability to establish and maintain strong vendor relationships
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of Accounts Payable Functions
· Dependable and effective communicator
Education:
· High School Diploma
Experience:
· One to three years of current experience in a relevant field.
Working Conditions:
· 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
· Some lifting up to 40 lbs
Salary : $19 - $25
