What are the responsibilities and job description for the ELECTION OFFICE STAFF - TEMPORARY position at Chesterfield Township Michigan?
The Charter Township of Chesterfield is now accepting applications for temporary staff to assist in election preparation. This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Voter registration
- Absentee voter applications and ballots
- Preparing election day materials and equipment
- Packing precinct supplies
- Data entry, filing
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and reports.
- Ability to be flexible regarding performing duties as assigned, and be available to work extended hours, as necessary.
- Ability to perform duties and process information and requests with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to be organized, multi-task, and complete work within established timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to conduct oneself with tact and courtesy.
Applicants may be scheduled up to 37.5 hours per week with some required weekends and late-nights.
Hourly Rate: $22.00
