Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator/Recruiter will serve as a coordinator of recruitment activities as well as recruiter for CCIU's Migrant Education Program (MEP) which includes Chester, Delaware, Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
The MEP Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all recruitment activities including identifying children of seasonal/temporary migratory agricultural workers; certifying their eligibility; enrolling children in the Migrant Education Program, communicating with student recruiters, student support specialist, program specialists and the data entry specialist about student enrollment and family moves; serving as a liaison between CCIU's MEP staff and State Recruitment coordinators; and providing training to recruiters and program specialists. The responsibility of a recruiter will identify and enroll students in the Migrant Education program following Federal, State and local guidelines and regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination:
- Work with the team of recruiters and program specialists to coordinate all identification and recruitment activities for CCIU MEP.
- Provide feedback on the recruitment activities and performance of staff to the Coordinators of Program Activities and Program Supervisor.
- Serve as a liaison between the State MEP team, specifically the State Recruitment Coordinator and CCIU MEP staff. Attend meetings and trainings offered by the state and consistently disseminate important recruitment related information to CCIU MEP staff.
- Coordinate and provide training and mentoring for all new and current staff involved in recruitment.
- Coordinate a recruitment state plan for the project area and recommend/implement best practices recruitment strategies and techniques. Work closely with the Program Supervisor to implement plans to enhance CCIU MEP's recruitment efforts across all counties.
- Complete the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) form for each child. Provide audit of COE's for quality control. Forward the COE to the local data entry specialist.
- Work closely with the Data Specialist and Coordinators of Program Activities to assure accurate and timely records processing.
- Monitor recruitment numbers per recruiter and for the program. Prepare recruitment reports for the state and CCIU MEP.
- Regularly monitor agricultural publications for employment news.
- Assist the recruitment staff in identifying new agri-business.
- Assist the recruitment staff in identifying social service agencies to help with referrals.
- Provide back-up support for the data records specialist to assure accurate and timely records processing. Attend data training.
- Other duties assigned by the program supervisor.
- Coordinate with schools, area agencies and local businesses to identify new students moving into the area.
- Enroll students in the program using the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and complete all documentation following State guidelines.
- Assist Student Support Specialists with all necessary information.
- Collect all State mandated data, maintain up-to-date reports, complete Needs Assessment forms as required and attend all State and local meetings and training sessions.
- Facilitate school enrollment and the involvement of parents in the education of their children through translation/interpretation, information, training and referrals.
- Other duties assigned by the program supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in education, social work, or related field) required. Master's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in Migrant Education Program or programs/organizations working with agricultural migratory workers, refugees, etc. preferred.
- Bilingual/multilingual preferred.
- Basic Computer knowledge required.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, business representatives and school personnel required.
- Valid Driver's License required
- Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year required
Project, Level 14, $66,649 - $83,311/yr. (Exempt)
- Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role. 260 day position, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
