At the present time, vacancies exist for Part-time Instructional Assistants within the Norristown After School Program, Student Services Division of the CCIU. Currently, there are multiple openings working with elementary and middle school age students, and supporting English Language Learners and/or academic support students.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
- Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
- Computer and current technology knowledge required
- Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire)
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Assist afterschool classroom teachers with the implementation of daily lessons and activities.
- Provide homework help and academic support to students individually or in small groups.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Davenport Elementary School and Marshall Street Elementary School
- Blockson, ENMS, and ESTLA Middle School

- 0 - 9 yrs experience = $19.38
- 10 - 13 yrs experience = $21.29
- 14 - 17 yrs experience = $23.19
- 18 - 25 yrs experience = $25.11
- *Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale = $19.38
- *Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $23.19
