The Student Liaison is the main point of contact for district personnel, support staff, and students who are enrolled in the Philadelphia and Brandywine Virtual Academies.

This role is responsible for supporting the School District of Philadelphia Virtual Academy (PVA) and the Brandywine Virtual Academy. The Student Liaison is primarily responsible for the following:
$68,981 - $86,227 (Project, Band 14)
Schedule
Monday - Friday
7.5 hours a day
260 days per year
Location:
The successful candidate will be required to attend PVA buildings within Philadelphia and travel to the CCIU Education Service Center - 455 Boot Rd. Downingtown, PA and other sites as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities
This role is responsible for supporting the School District of Philadelphia Virtual Academy (PVA) and the Brandywine Virtual Academy. The Student Liaison is primarily responsible for the following:
- Supervise PVA/BVA Student Advisors and PVA/BVA Clerks and provide necessary support for them to effectively build relationships with our students that lead to their success. Serve as a pipeline to funnel information both ways between district administrators and CCIU staff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop programs, interventions, and events that lead to the success of our students. This includes but is not limited to the recruiting and orienting of new students, the re-engagement of targeted students, and providing tier one technical support.
- Serve as a liaison between students, parents, school district staff, BVA staff, and other curriculum and instructional providers to ensure a successful educational experience for students and staff. This includes attendance and progress monitoring support, communication with students and parents, collaborating with special education staff, and serving as an information resource to stakeholders.
- Engage in creative problem-solving to develop and implement solutions to daily, weekly, and longer-term obstacles and barriers.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience as a tutor or teaching assistant preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with learning management systems, student information systems, and other technology platforms strongly preferred
