Chest Medicine Associates has been serving patients in Southern Maine and New Hampshire for over 30 years, specializing in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. We’re looking for a Patient Scheduling Representative to join our team and be the welcoming voice of our practice.
What You’ll Do:
Position Summary: Primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, screening and forwarding caller to the appropriate departments. Functions as a member of the support staff team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls.
- Schedules appointments for patients with physicians and directs patients to other areas to schedule certain testing.
- Supports and backs up support staff in other areas, such as check-in, check-out, and reception if needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in every interaction.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a medical office and with EMR systems.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Professional communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- A team player who is reliable and motivated.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Pay: $19.75 - $21.00 per hour

Experience:
- Health Care Patient Admin Support: 1 year (Preferred)
