Senior Financial Leader
We are seeking an experienced financial leader to join our team and help drive growth for our clients.
This role will work closely with the finance leadership team to manage all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and internal control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor the portfolio company accounting team, providing guidance and training.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Provide monthly financial analysis and reports to senior leadership.
- Support the senior leadership team in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with auditors to manage year-end audits.
- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows.
Requirements:
- 7 years of full cycle accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Ability to lead a small accounting team.
- Knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting is required.
