Job Description:
Chesapeake Carpet and Flooring is seeking a driven Flooring Sales Representative to join our team in Harford County, MD! If you’re a motivated sales professional passionate about helping customers enhance their homes with quality flooring, this is your chance to excel. In this role, you’ll manage sales appointments, guide clients through flooring selections, and earn uncapped commissions with weekly draws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and maintain sales appointments with customers, ensuring timely follow-ups and outstanding service.
- Assist clients in choosing flooring products (hardwood, laminate, carpet, tile, vinyl, etc.) that fit their needs and budget.
- Conduct product demonstrations, explaining features, benefits, and installation details.
- Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Meet sales targets to maximize commission earnings.
- Stay current on flooring industry trends, product specifications, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of sales experience, ideally in flooring, home improvement, or in-home sales.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain sales appointments effectively.
- Knowledge of flooring materials and installation processes is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a commission-based role.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license (travel to customer locations or showrooms will be required).
