RV Service Technician

Chesaco RV is currently seeking an experienced RV Service Technician to join our team. As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on various RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RV components, such as slide-outs, awnings, leveling systems, generators, and water systems.

• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and system checks.

• Install, repair, or replace RV parts and accessories, such as batteries, inverters, solar panels, and satellite systems.

• Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and diagnostic software to accurately diagnose and repair RV systems.

• Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repairs made.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repair procedures, and ensuring their satisfaction.

• Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols when performing repairs and installations.

• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and RV service procedures through training and professional development opportunities.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an RV Service Technician or similar role, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing various RV systems.

• Proficient knowledge of RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in diagnosing and repairing RVs.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple repair tasks efficiently.

• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited RV technician program.

• Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., RVIA, ASE).

• Knowledge of specific RV brands and models.
