Assistant Teacher/Floater

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment for children, guiding their development through engaging and effective teaching practices. This position requires a strong commitment to child welfare and education, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both students and their families.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Provide high-quality childcare while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across different subjects.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in preschool or toddler care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to child welfare and the ability to create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
