Financial Intake Advocate in Abortion Care – FULL TIME – TUES thru SAT – NO NIGHTS – starting at $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Full-Time Hours available Tues-Saturday at Cherry Hill Women’s Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 50 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for patients seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.

Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred):

• Meeting with patients to collect payments, handling any insurance or payment issues, processing patient funding received from outside organizations
• Reconciling daily deposits and completing all required tracking paperwork
• Performing patient check-in, chart preparation, other routine front office duties
• Serving as an advocate for patients, their partners and families

The ideal candidate has:

• Previous cash-handling / bookkeeping / medical office billing experience
• Strong computer skills (Electronic Health Record experience a plus!)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Bilingual candidates always sought; Staff members who speak more than one language interpret for non-English speaking patients and their loved ones throughout their experience.

New graduates are welcome to apply, some customer service and cash-handling experience is required.
