Hourly Rate: $20/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable, committed individuals to serve youth and families throughout Philadelphia. This hourly, part-time position is ideal for someone who can be a positive role model and provide supportive guidance in community, school, and home settings.
The Advocate is responsible for initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families. All service plans follow a strength-based approach and the wraparound model.
This role offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and activity reimbursement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide direct advocacy services to assigned youth and families.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans using a strength-based, wraparound approach.
- Serve as a positive role model in community, home, and school environments.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes in accordance with program requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working in the community and familiarity with community resources.
- Ability to work effectively with at-risk youth and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
- Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
