Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a specialized acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities: Prioritizes patient safety and evidence-based practice, models proficiency through precepting new staff, and contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Works in moderate to high acuity units, including Med-Surg specialties.
Qualifications: Requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience), and at least 6 months of RN experience. Must hold BLS certification, and NIHSS certification within 6 months. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills are essential.
Key Skills: Critical thinking, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and commitment to continuous learning. Must be onsite and available for night shifts.
