Respiratory Therapy Technician
Location: Canton, OH
Responsibilities: Provide advanced respiratory care including administering treatments with ventilatory equipment, performing arterial punctures, monitoring oxygenation and blood gases, managing mechanical ventilation, assisting with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and conducting CPR per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
Documentation & Communication: Accurately record treatments, patient responses, and communicate patient status during shift handoffs.
Qualifications: Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, proficiency in invasive/non-invasive ventilation, airway management, blood gas interpretation, and pulmonary procedures. Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Preferred Skills: Experience with lab testing, PleurX drainage, video laryngoscopy, bronchoscopy, and tracheostomy assistance.
Key Duties: Deliver high-acuity respiratory care, manage ventilatory equipment, perform pulmonary assessments, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
