This position is a Registered Nurse consultant specializing in wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) care as part of the wound care team. The role involves assessing patients with or at risk for pressure injuries, draining wounds, fistulas, and skin integrity issues, and implementing best practices across the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and skin conditions.
- Provide in-service education to nursing and medical staff.
- Serve as a resource for patients with ostomy surgeries and educate them on care procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend wound and skin care products and practices.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills in WOC nursing.
- Collect and maintain relevant data and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred.
- Minimum of two years RN experience, including wound, ostomy, and continence nursing practice.
- Current Oklahoma RN licensure required.
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) & Ostomy Management Specialist Certification (OMS) preferred or to be completed within 12 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with ongoing re-certification.
- Responsibilities include patient education, product evaluation, and maintaining competency in wound and ostomy care.
