Registered Nurse - Renal Med Surg

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards and state regulations. Collaborating with healthcare providers, you will assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately. You will respond promptly to patient needs, educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments, and advocate for patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
• Perform medical procedures and ensure timely documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Respond to patient requests proactively and resolve concerns.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum one year of RN experience; hospital experience preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure in the relevant state; BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and compassionate care skills.
