Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiographic examinations following established protocols, ensuring accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.

- Use appropriate techniques to gather relevant exam information, verify patient identity, and assess patient needs.
- Perform pre- and post-exam patient education.
- Produce high-quality images at various locations, including bedside, ER, and surgery, adhering to protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, including shielding and pregnancy checks.
- Assist radiologists with complex procedures and prepare/administer contrast media per policies and regulations.
- Ensure exams are completed and ready for interpretation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, stay proficient with equipment and systems, and mentor students in radiographic techniques.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain necessary credentials and certifications.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Registered and KY Radiation Operator certification.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of general radiography experience.
