- Respond to crisis calls via HOPE Crisis line, First Responder IPAD, and 988 dispatch to assist clients in crisis.
- De-escalate situations, assess client needs, and provide face-to-face services, including safety planning and linkage to community resources.
- Coordinate care with family members, community agencies, and inpatient facilities for discharge planning and follow-up.
- Advocate for clients to prevent hospitalization and promote recovery-focused, trauma-informed care.
- Maintain confidentiality, document services promptly, and adhere to policies and standards, including CARF, DMHSAS, and Medicaid regulations.
- Participate in outreach, engagement, and team collaboration, seeking supervisory guidance as needed.
- May provide transportation using personal or agency vehicles and cover shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience and certifications meeting ODMHSAS and HOPE requirements.
- DMHSAS CM II Certification, CPR/First Aid, and safety training completion.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to provide client transportation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to relate positively to individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with mature professionalism and effective documentation skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including occasional lifting and mobility.
- Work environment involves moderate noise and outdoor conditions at times.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
