Physical Therapist - Med/Surg

Role Overview: A healthcare facility in southeastern Arizona is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its inpatient Med/Surg team, providing evidence-based therapy services across acute and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care planning and discharge coordination
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards
• Adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and clinical findings
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: Experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings
• Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation
