- Recent graduate from an accredited histology program or one year of technical experience in a surgical pathology laboratory
- Three years of experience preferred
- ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician required upon hire, or temporary classification for recent movers into the state to complete certification within 18 months
