- Utilize knowledge of lifespan disability services and supports across the region.
- Participate effectively in multidisciplinary medical clinics.
- Assist families in navigating service delivery systems, including medical, school, transition (up to age 21), and health and welfare services.
- Provide peer-to-peer mentoring to support families of children or youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and disabilities.
- Personal experience with navigating disability service systems.
- Background in multidisciplinary medical and service programs.
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
- Preference for candidates who are parents or family members of CYSHCN or children with disabilities.
