JOB SUMMARY: Administers preventive maintenance and repairs for all heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment including lubrication, changing filters, cleaning coils, adjustment of dampers and controls, and changing motors and fans. Flexible work shifts are required.

- Maintains preventative maintenance program and completes documentation as required. Daily 35%
- Perform water treatment testing for all open and closed loops – report deficiencies to associated HVAC Technician. Daily 20%
- Changes air filters and lubricates equipment as required. Daily 10%
- Completes work orders and requests as assigned and maintains daily work log. Daily 10%
- Provides support for other departments as required. Daily 5%
- Covers for HVAC technician during vacation periods. Daily 5%
- Log equipment performance as required. Daily 5%
- Keep equipment clean and free of obstacles. Daily 5%
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Daily 5% TOTAL 100%

- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in commercial or institutional HVAC systems
- Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool
- Colorado driver’s license
- Work location is subject to change to meet the requirements of the organization
- Medium work strength level (lifting or carrying 50 pounds)
- Works both indoors and outdoors
- Good motor skills (hand tools and machinery used daily)
- Pushing pulling
