Sales Support Specialist- Private Label and Branded

The Position: We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist Private Label and Branded

Requirements:

·      Candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be well organized

·      Candidate should be willing to recommend organizational process improvements

·      Candidate must be able to encourage collaborative thinking and recommend ways to reach a cohesive end goal with Sales and Marketing materials

·      Private Label and Branded experience highly preferred

·      Food Industry knowledge and experience highly preferred (have attended trade shows)

Responsibilities:

·       Manage and activate outside retail portals

·       Must be able work with food brokers and account managers

·       Experience working with accruals, deductions, customer service teams and logistics

·       Work with sales team to ensure the CRM data base is updated regularly and run any   reports as needed by the sales team

·       Conduct occasional market research and retail market visits

·       Knowledge of retail sales contracts highly preferred

·       Create marketing materials for tradeshows

·       Work with Marketing Manager to keep sales team’s materials up to date

·       Coordinate sample shipments coming out of Cherry Central plants for the tradeshows

·       Possibly some travel to support food shows

·       Follow up with customers and brokers to assist with trade spending and promotional planning

·       Assist with budgeting and forecasting

·       Review order processing for accuracy on price and freight charges by customer
