About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the internal tax team, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight
- Oversee corporate tax compliance activities, including coordination with external providers
- Drive tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, including tax structuring and due diligence
- Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams as a trusted tax advisor
- Ensure adherence to applicable tax laws, regulations, and internal controls
Required Qualifications
- Significant progressive experience in corporate tax, including compliance and planning
- Prior experience managing or mentoring staff
- Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Big 4 public accounting experience, or a blend of public accounting and corporate tax experience
- Experience supporting M&A and complex transactions
- Background working in a large, complex, or publicly traded organization
